Copypastat från en annan post jag skrivit på ett annat forum, så läs på engelska, svara på svenska. (Grammatiska fel o sån skit kan ni behålla för er själva )
So my mp3 went awol and said "fuck you mang". Which leaves me with buying a new mp3-player. However, instead of being a designed fashion bitch and get an ipod, im looking for a Portable Media Player, aka, PMP.
Now, is there anyone out there in the awsome group of ct-gamers who has any experience with these? Or even better, any experience with the two machines im leaning towards atm.
Which is:
Clickie Archos 604
and
Clickie again Cowon iAudio A2
I want my player to;
Fit in my pocket
Play Video
Have compability with almost everything
Look good
Longlasting batteries
Reasonable disc space for its price
Good sound
Large enough screen so it dosent get to hard to watch a movie
Be able to take a couple of hits (dropped etc)
Which have lead me to these two.
Now my main concerns with the Archos 604 is that it dosent clearly state if it can play .avi files or not, if it supports .xvid or not. However some sites on the net says it does, so im confused. On the + side tho is that the battery can be removed, it has a standkick and fits in my pocket.
Downsides with the iAudio A2 is that its screen sucks in direct sunlight, even tho the hueg ammount of battery-time its built in which ofcourse, if you run out, a spare wont do since you'd have to take it a part, piece by piece. However, it does play everything. From .avi to .ogg files, which is a hueg advantage.
However it was released in mid 2005 and well, francly, that's a bit old in the electro-world. Why hasnt the company released any new products in the same line? Does it suck that bad? And, the technology is two years out of date and mabye a newer product has more life-time? Would you buy a 2-year old product for massive ammounts of money?
The archos is a 2006 release which is good, its still mid 2007 and I doubt anything groundbraking will come untill 2008. Which gives me lots of time to save for that one
Anyhos, all comments are welcome. Tho, 4-chan gtfo.
